Flagrunner
I have joined a Guild thats pretty new but also quite experianced (New Guild, old members). None of the members like being the Flagrunner, but I love it. However, I am having trouble...
My Build, as I understand, is the standard Flagrunner build:
Dodge - Storm - Apply - Crippling {E} - Hunters - Distract - Troll - Mend Ailment
Just recently have I become interested in Guild Fights, therefore I am new to my job. So basically I need a few pointers on how to Flagrun effectively.
If I run into another Ranger using a similar Build, then we fight it out until one of us gets backup. I would also like to know how to combat a Ranger usign this build.
Thanks a lot

Pretty basic yet effective. Good flagrunning build no question, but aside from Flag running you aren't doing much.
Perhaps something like this:
Escape {E}
Storm Chaser
Whirling Defence
Distraction Shot
Savage Shot
Read the Wind
Troll Ungeunt
Ressurection Signet

Yeah your right - I need to do more than Flagrun.
I will try mixing the two builds (Mine and yours) and see how things go.

Certainly a solid flag running build, and fairly standard to say the least. Saying that the build cannot do much aside from running flags is a gross under-statement. The build you posted Arrow, would get rocked in any type of 1v1 situation against the build the OP has posted, and has even less to contribute to the main group.

Indeed, you are capable of spreading cripple, poison and bleeding to the entire team, not only the opposing runner.
If I had to change something, I would probably put a hex or an ench in place of mend ailment. Most of the time I end up using it as a buffer for Troll.

I tried using another build but it didnt work.
I found that using Mend Ailment is pretty useless 'cus the opposing Ranger usually has Crippling Shot - which charges very fast.
I used Conjure Phantasm inplce of Ailment, and found its very good at scaring the other Ranger off - since they do not know how long it will last (I think it can last up to 13/14 seconds - which is a long time to suffer from Degen of 8). It doesnt last extremely long because I only throw maybe 4-5 ranks into Illusion.
So to conclude - My build is the same as above but with Conjur Phantasm. Its worked for 2 GVGs and we have been successful.
Thanks for the help,
